You arrived in Amsterdam by Viking ship to rebuild the monuments.

	The fairy tale city of Amsterdam features an 1889 railway station built to resemble an ancient castle. The Japanese were so impressed by this; they constructed a duplicate of the building in Tokyo.

	Merchants once weighed everything from glass ornaments to anchors in this ancient building. Anchors were hoisted up on a tall mast and dropped in the center of the square. If they didn't shatter, hey were approved and marked for sale. Happily, this method was not applied to the glass ornaments.

	The museum is a recreation of how Rembrandt's house actually looked inside - restored in accordance with a list made by a scrivener when the items were auctioned in 1656.
